Urban Sunset® Shantung Maple is family to Pacific Sunset Maple, however, it has set itself apart due to its unique upright oval to pyramidal form. This tree’s canopy will stay notably uniform as it matures. In spring and summer, you’ll see a handsome dark green and glossy leaf that transitions to a remarkably deep wine red in the fall.

Urban Sunset® Shantung Maple’s pyramidal form allows it to have flexibility in urban settings. This tree is an excellent parkway tree option, it is a great choice for a shade tree and really anywhere in the open landscape as an accent. This tree should be planted at least 20 Ft away from buildings.
