Persian Parrotia is one of the best small specimen trees for any location. This low-branched small tree has an unusual form and texture making it an interesting specimen. Early blooming small flowers have showy red stamens, and its fall color is a gorgeous mix of yellow, orange and red. The foliage is reddish purple when unfolding which changes to a lustrous medium to dark green during summer. In the fall Persian Parrotia’s foliage develops to brilliant yellow/orange/scarlet.
