Will you plant less than three tree?
That depends. Your wait might be a bit longer, but if we are working in your area we would be happy to stop by. We usually take it on a case by case basis, so please contact us to find out.
How long will it take for me to get my trees?
That depends. Planting dates range in season from about April 1st to December 1st, depending on weather. While we can only plant during certain seasons, feel free to purchase your iTrees.com package at any time during the year...don't worry we won't forget about you. Do I have to call J.U.L.I.E?
No. Julie requires the person doing the actual digging to get approval. We take care of all of those arrangements.
How often do I need to water my trees?
After you order your trees, you will receive the iTrees.com instructional kit. This kit will contain all the information necessary to place and care for your trees. Most trees need to be watered once a week through the first full year, and immediately after the trees are planted.
What kind of trees do you have?
We have a large variety of shade, ornamental, and evergreen trees. We are also in the process of adding some shurbs and specialty trees. To see everything we have available please click "shop" above and then click "browse our trees".
How big are the trees I am getting?
The trees we select are all at least 2” to 4” caliper balled and burlapped specimens. The caliper is the diameter of the trunk 6” above the ground, so a 2” tree has a trunk diameter of 2”. The height of the trees will depend on the tree variety. Ornamental trees like flowering crabapples are about 10 feet to start for a 2” tree. However, some of our shade trees, like maples, are over anywhere from 14 feet to over 20 feet tall to start!
What trees would look good in my yard?
This is really a matter of taste. Read through all the package descriptions or browse our trees to get a better idea what your needs are. If you are still stuck feel free to give us a call and we will help you decide, or even do an at home consultation to make sure you get exactly what you need.
Do you have to drive equipment in my yard?
It depends, usually we plant all of our material by hand, but as we grow we service more customers and offer larger materials. Our professional planting crew may choose to use a small Toro Dingo walk-behind skid-steer to assist them. This is a small, lightweight, turf friendly device that will not cause any damage to your property. If you absolutely do not want any equiptment in your yard, please tell us and we will make sure to comply.
Where do I put the trees in my yard?
After you purchase your desired package you will receive an iTrees.com instructional kit in the mail. This kit contains a design guide which will help you place trees effectively in your yard. If you are still stuck after using the design guide, feel free to give us a call and we will see what we can do to help.
Where do you get your trees?
All of our trees are purchased from local nurseries. This ensures that the trees are top quality specimens hand picked by us. Also, by utilizing locally grown trees you can be sure that your tree will be well suited for our climate and environment.
