Why it rocks:
Royal Red Norway Maple makes a strong statement in the landscape. The year-round deep purple foliage color cannot be matched by any other tree. This tree will help to provide diversity in the landscape at a time of the year when everything else is green. For this tree’s statistics please click on the Additional Details tab above.
Where to put it:
Royal Red Norway Maple is a versatile tree which can be planted almost anywhere in the yard. Because of its large leaves, Norway Maples produce a very dense shade which can provide relief from the hot summer sun. This tree should be planted at least 15ft from buildings, and is particularly showy when planted in the parkway or front yard. What it needs:
Royal Red Norway Maple thrives in almost any location. It is one of the toughest, most adaptable shade trees on the market. Due to its slower growth rate, this tree should not be planted where you need immediate shade but can be planted where you need immediate color. For tree care instructions please click here.
