Why it rocks:
One of the most popular landscape trees available, River Birch is an excellent addition to any home. River Birch is a multi-stemmed clump tree, making it one of the best trees for screening and privacy. This versatile, fast growing tree is valued not only for its stunning black, brown, and tan peeling bark, but also for its outstanding gold fall color. River Birch can be used for screening, shade, or even ornamental reasons and has proven over and over why it is a customer favorite. Where to put it:
River Birch is extremely versatile and can be used nearly anywhere in the landcape. Because of its shape, River Birch is great along property lines as a privacy screen. River Birch is also commonly used in the front or back landscape to provide accent or anchoring, or around a deck or patio to provide shade and screening. It is best to avoid parkways, and this tree should always be kept at least 15ft away from buildings. What it needs:
River Birch does exceedingly well in wet locations, but will typically thrive anywhere in the landscape given adequate water. Very Beautiful Review by Jane
I ordered a 14ft tall River Birch and it is extremely nice. Not only is this a beautiful tree- it is huge! This is definitely a lot larger than what I was expecting. The tree is absolutely perfect and the installation was easy and painless. I had the itrees guys install the tree and it didn't even look like they were ever there. If they had a star rating it would definitely be 5 stars! (Posted on 4/27/11)
